Situated on 19 beautiful acres of flat and hilly, wooded land, Augie’s Adventures is the perfect space where families can meet a group of people with whom they can bond through the joys, difficulties, laughter, and tears that accompany life with disabilities. Whether it’s listening to a guest speaker, or having fun interacting with other families, Augie’s Adventures provides the perfect amenities.

Activities and Pastimes
Augie’s Adventures is a place for grown and minor children to connect with others who enjoy the same recreational activities and pastimes. As the families get acquainted through the parent support group, small groups can be designed to meet particular needs, for example: playgroups for young children, active games like kickball for adolescents/teens, pickleball matches for grown children, and more.
If you enjoy the peace of nature, perhaps a walk or hike on our wooded trails is just what you need.
If your family likes wide open spaces, the huge lawn beckons you to play kickball, wiffleball, soccer, or touch football.
If the season is hot and sunny, the pool is your oasis.
Enjoy classic ways to get active on our basketball court, swing set, and trampoline.
Have a seat to relax and chat with like-minded families at our oversized campfire circle.
Inclement weather need not spoil get-togethers, as the pickleball court is in the (heated) outbuilding, and a pool table and other types of games are also indoors.
